Foxit Reader 3.0 – бесплатный ридер PDF файлов малого размера

Foxit Reader – бесплатный просмотрщик PDF документов и принтер, с малым размером (только 3.69 Мб), быстрой скоростью запуска и богатым набором возможностей. Foxit Reader поддерживает Windows Me/2000/XP/2003/Vista. Хорошая альтернатива всем известной программе Adobe Reader.

- Enticing Multimedia Design
Now users can not only play multimedia in Foxit Reader, but also are empowered to add, edit or delete multimedia files with the incredible Movie Tool and Sound Tool.
- Attachment Panel
Lists all the attached files in the PDF document, and provides a number of common options that helps users manage the attachments, such as opening, deleting and adding description to the attachments. Users can also change the security settings when opening an attachment in this panel.
- Thumbnail Panel
Shows thumbnail images for each PDF page and allows users to quickly view relevant portions of a PDF file. Now users can navigate through PDFs with page thumbnails.
- Layout Panel
Lists PDF layers in the document, allows users to control the display of some certain content areas.
- Metric Unit Support
Within the preferences dialog box it gives users the option to set the unit of page dimension in either metric system or imperial system.

Vulnerabilities Fixed:

1. Fixed the issue of stack-based buffer overflow.
Foxit PDF files include actions associated with different triggers. If an action (Open/Execute a file, Open a web link, etc.) is defined in the PDF files with an overly long filename argument and the trigger condition is satisfied, it will cause a stack-based buffer overflow.

2. Fixed the issue of security authorization bypass.
If an action (Open/Execute a file, Open a web link, etc.) is defined in the PDF files and the trigger condition is satisfied, Foxit Reader will do the action defined by the creator of the PDF file without popping up a dialog box to confirm.

3. Fixed the issue of JBIG2 Symbol Dictionary Processing
While decoding a JBIG2 symbol dictionary segment, an array of 32-bit elements is allocated having a size equal to the number of exported symbols, but left uninitialised if the number of new symbols is zero. The array is later accessed and values from uninitialised memory are used as pointers when reading memory and performing calls.
